The Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan is the largest socio-legal organization in the Kyrgyz Republic, uniting over 500,000 workers across the country.

The main mission of the Federation is to protect the rights and interests of its trade union members. Since workers often find themselves alone against employers, trade unions help them balance power and stand up for their position.

One of the most important achievements of the FTUK is the social partnership system. Together with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and employers, the Federation addresses issues related to the standard of living for Kyrgyzstan citizens, the remuneration and protection of their labor, and the provision of state guarantees of employment and social protection.

The Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan initiates the ratification of International Labour Organization conventions, provides free legal assistance to thousands of workers, and, when necessary, represents their interests in court.

The highest governing body of the FTUK is the Council. The chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan is Muradil Dzhumadilde uulu.
