The Recreational House “Cholpon-Ata” operated only during the summer season since 1960 and was completely closed in 2017. It is registered with 38 cottages accommodating 638 beds. The administrative building, dining hall, summer cinema, dance floor, and other structures are in unsatisfactory condition; as of today, the facility has become unserviceable, and major investments are required for its rehabilitation.
8. Recreational House “Issyk-Kul”
Recreational House “Issyk-Kul” is located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, near the village of Bosteri. It occupies several hectares of well-landscaped territory.
Accommodation is provided in a two-story wooden Building No. 2 and in cottages with 2- to 4-bed rooms, which currently lack modern amenities. Toilets, washbasins, and showers are available on the premises of the boarding house. The rooms are very modest. In contrast, the rooms in the three-story Building No. 1 are somewhat cozier than the cottages. In each room there is a washbasin with cold water, a toilet located on the floor, and a shower available on the premises.

Meals are provided three times a day and are included in the tour package. The beach is sandy and extends up to 100 meters from the shore, and the facility also features:

The Recreational House “Issyk-Kul” can accommodate 329 people. Its facilities include two sleeping buildings, 56 wooden cottages constructed with lightweight materials, a dining hall, a conference hall, a cinema, a pier, and various technical and utility structures.
