The Issyk-Kul Holiday Home (formerly the Issyk-Kul Tourist Boarding House) is located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, near the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul Oblast. It has been in operation since June 1, 1984 and was transferred to the management of Kyrgyzkurortturizm in 2009. The total land area of the holiday home is 8.64 hectares. For accommodating guests, the holiday home features: 2 residential buildings – Building No. 1 – 300 beds, Building No. 2 – 92 beds, 56 wooden cottages made of lightweight structures
The condition of the wooden cottages is unsatisfactory, as no major repairs have been carried out in 39 years of operation. The two residential buildings are in satisfactory condition, but require renovation and repairs.
Given the high demand for the holiday home during the summer season, it is necessary to increase its capacity to 450–500 beds. To address this, the management is working on attracting investment for the construction of separate two-story cottages with double and triple rooms equipped with all modern amenities. This investment is planned to be secured through a barter deal, involving a 3.8-hectare plot of land adjacent to the holiday home.
Additionally, to provide optimal comfort for guests, the following improvements are required: renovation and major repairs of rooms in the right wing of Building No. 1, restoration of the building’s façade, landscaping and beautification of the area surrounding Building No. 1
