The Recreational House “Ala-Too” is located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake in the city of Cholpon-Ata, 250 km from Bishkek. It has been operating since 1974 during the summer season only and can accommodate 1,027 people. On its premises there are 48 standard wooden Baltic-style cottages and 4 improved brick cottages with wood-panel interiors. All rooms are double, triple, or quadruple occupancy. In 2013, new luxury cottages were built 150 meters from the beach.

Standard Room: Features single beds, bedside tables, a table, 2 chairs, dishware (plate, glass, spoons), a toilet, and cold water shared between two adjacent rooms, as well as a shower on the premises (for a fee). Each room has a separate entrance and a terrace.

Room block configuration: 2+3 or 2+4.

Improved Room: Includes single beds, a wardrobe, a table, chairs, an armchair, a television, and a refrigerator, along with a toilet, a shower (boiler), cold water, and a separate entrance.

New Luxury Cottages: Equipped with single or double beds, a wardrobe, a table, chairs, dishware (plates, glasses, spoons), a television, and a refrigerator, plus a toilet, a shower (boiler), cold water, and a separate entrance. Triple rooms additionally include a sofa.

Meals: Three meals a day are served, with the dining hall operating in two shifts.

Beach: The sandy beach is located at distances ranging from 100 to 350 meters from the cottages, depending on their location.
