Professional Union of Communication, Information Technologies, Industry, and Other Fields of Activity of Kyrgyzstan
From January 1925, the Council of Trade Unions of the Karakyrgyz Autonomous Region included the Postal Workers’ Union and the Union of Electrical Communications.
On September 25, 1934, the Trade Union of Communication Workers of the Kyrgyz SSR was established.
On September 15, 1990, it was renamed the Trade Union of Communication Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On January 26, 2024, at the III Plenum of the Republican Committee of the Communication Workers’ Trade Union of the Kyrgyz Republic, a chairman was elected.
The following organizations are members of the Communication Workers’ Trade Union of the Kyrgyz Republic: OJSC “Kyrgyz Pochtasy” and its branches.

International Cooperation
The Republican Committee of the Communication Workers’ Trade Union of the Kyrgyz Republic successfully cooperates with communication workers’ trade unions of other countries:
- All-Russian Trade Union of Communication Workers of the Russian Federation
- Independent Trade Union of Communication Workers of Azerbaijan
- Trade Union of Communication Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Belarusian Trade Union of Communication Workers
- It is part of the International Association of Communication Workers’ Trade Unions
Since October 2003, it has been a member of the international trade union network UNI (Union Network International).
