Informational work is one of the highest priority areas of union activity. Informing rank-and-file union members as well as working citizens, students, and those not yet union members about the work carried out by unions is an important task for union organizations. Providing workers with high-quality information about the activities of unions is one of the key elements in strengthening the motivation for union membership.
Given the importance of work in this area, the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan (FTUK) carries out the following activities:
Informing about the activities of trade union organizations at various levels during meetings, conferences, sessions of union bodies, conferences, round tables, etc.
FTUK has its own website: www.fpsk.kg, which is currently undergoing an update process.
Publishing brochures, informational leaflets, and promotional flyers that are distributed to both current and potential union members.
Regularly publishing articles and clarifications in periodicals such as newspapers and magazines.
Representatives of FTUK and affiliated organizations regularly appear on television broadcasts and radio stations to discuss various issues of union activities as well as general labor issues.
There are FTUK pages on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, etc., where information about union activities is disseminated.
An informational bulletin is issued quarterly, containing news about FTUK and affiliated organizations, information about the socio-economic situation, etc.
There are also groups and chats on messengers such as WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
Short video clips are produced, which are broadcast on TV and on the Internet.
