Currently, the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan possesses 15 sanatorium-resort and tourist facilities of various types.
In order to develop union sanatorium-resort institutions and provide quality services to the republic’s workers, the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan regularly holds negotiations with potential investors and considers all possible investment proposals. This is due to the unsatisfactory condition of the material and technical base of our sanatorium-resort complex, with building wear exceeding 70%. It is noteworthy that the majority of their fixed assets were put into operation in the 50s–80s of the last century, and no major repairs have been carried out on these organizations’ buildings in the last 30–50 years.
Our current strategy is aimed at increasing the accessibility of treatment and leisure for the ordinary citizens of our country and establishing a modern sanatorium-resort complex in the country. The Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan intends to continue its work in attracting investment and is currently negotiating with the country's leadership regarding conditions for the joint implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects for the rehabilitation of the union sanatorium-resort institutions of Kyrgyzstan.
We believe that the most crucial stage in the development of the sanatorium-resort complex owned by the unions of Kyrgyzstan was the decision made by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, S.N. Zhaparov, to create an effective mechanism for managing activities related to the financing of capital construction and repair of the union sanatorium-resort facilities, as well as initiatives to improve their material and technical base.
